Here are some of important things to know about HIV

What is HIV?
These are virus that causes AIDS and it damages human immune system,make it easier for a person sick
HIV stands for Human immunodeficiency virus and its virus tend to breaks down cells in your immune system hence body get weak and diseases

What is AIDS?
it stands for Acquired immune Deficiency syndrome,also people with HIV do not always have AIDS.
HIV destroy an important cell in your immune system called CD4 cells.

CAUSES OF HIV & AIDS
1-Sharing of needles when shooting drugs.

2-Accidental needle sticks.

3-Blood transfusion.

4-child birth.

5-Breast feeding.

6-Organ transplantation.

HOW TO AVOID SPREAD OF HIV & AIDS
-Use of condoms.
       If you don't know the HIV status of your partner ,use new condom every time you have sex as women can use female condoms and you need to prefer to use only water based lubricants
Oil lubricant can weaken condoms and cause them to burst

-Tell your sexual partner if you have HIV.
         Its important thing to tell your sexual partner that you're HIV positive so by that you need to be tested and receive medical care so you need to be trustfully to your sexual partner

-Use a clean instruments.
So if you need to use needle in any of your work you just need to sterile and don't share it with other people

-Pregnant women should get medical care.
          This is very important to mother who is affected should get medical care in order to prevent the passage of HIV from mother to a child

-Male circumcision
         There is evidence that male circumcision can help a man's risk of acquiring

NOTE:
*Most of people with HIV infections do not look sick
*Many people with HIV infections have not been tested and don't know they are infected
